With a terrifying leg span of up to 30 cm (12 in), the Giant Huntsman Spider is the world´s largest spider (at least by leg span). Besides their enormous size, these fast spiders are also famous for their unique way of catching prey – instead of building webs, they hunt down their prey (hence their common name).
