Cinereous Vulture
Also known as the black vulture, monk vulture, or Eurasian black vulture, the Cinereous Vulture is sometimes considered the world´s largest bird of prey. This giant raptor can be up to 120 cm (47 in) long with a wingspan of up to 3 m (120 in) and a weight of up to 14 kg (31 lb). Nesting high in trees and on remote cliffs, the bird can fly as high as in the upper troposphere.
