She was the prototypical “it girl” after her role in Clueless and she looked destined for huge stardom. Though she is still acting today, she’s largely forgotten on the big screen. Damn you Batman and Robin, if you were going to ruin someone’s career why couldn’t it have been Chris O’Donnel?!

I guess we could blame Pete Sampras for this one. She was the quintessential hot teacher in Billy Madison before kicking ass in the Mortal Combat movie. She hasn’t had a credit to her name since 2008, but her “studying” scene in Billy Madison remains one of the greatest of all time.

Carrie-Ann Moss

Damn, this woman could wear leather. That opening scene in The Matrix had epic choreography, but it also had Moss running around looking fine as hell. After showing off her acting chops and sultry good looks in other films like Red Planet, Memento and Fido, she looked bound for stardom. Unfortunately, her career has tapered off and she’s largely left the big screen. You can still drool over her in Netflix’s Marvel shows, but it’s just not the same without patent leather.

She was the adorable little girl in ET before she bounced around the beach in Baywatch. Then she popped out of a cake in Under Siege and she wasn’t the only thing popping up. She also appeared in smaller films like Chasers and Bordello of blood before disappearing into anonymity.

Gretchen Mol

You probably remember this starlet from her roles in Donnie Brasco, Rounders, Celebrity and damn near every other iconic 90’s movie. In fact, she appeared in four movies in 1999 alone. For that reason many people expected her star to continue to rise, but outside of a small role in Manchester by the Sea, she’s done very little worth mention since the 90’s.

Kelly Macdonald

Her role in the iconic film Trainspotting looked sure to make her a superstar, but she quickly fell from the limelight. She did get a quick cameo in the sequel, but that couldn’t hold a candle to the hotness she presented in the original.

The original Buffy the Vampire Slayer also had roles in 90’s classics Hot Shots!, The Program, The Chase, Higher Learning, The Phantom and Big Daddy. The gorgeous blonde has been virtually unheard of in the new millennium, leaving many of us yearning for more.

I could go on and on about her roles and cameos, but instead I’m just gonna throw this out there—Species. If you haven’t seen it, then you might not get it. If you have, then several of her saucy scenes are seared into your brain and you’ve probably wondered what happened to her. She did appear, and look incredible, in the The Whole Nine Yards series of films, but since then she’s seemingly disappeared. Maybe she’s gone back into her cocoon and we can expect some sexiness again soon?

If there is one babe on this list that went from sex symbol to a milk carton, its Cook. She’s All That was the epitome of teen angst drama, which normally I would pan, but she absolutely lit up the screen. I’m not sure what she’s been up to, but I will always remember her just like she looked in the poster on my ceiling.

This babe had huge roles in films that shaped the 90’s including Empire Records, The Craft and End of Days. She’s spent almost all her time recently focused on her show The Mentalist, leaving the big screen wanting.

American Pie. If you were a teenage boy in the 90’s, this was your life and Shannon Elizabeth was the girl of your dreams. Her topless scene in the flick may have been as unexpected as it was hot. She went on to play a few other roles in movies like Scary Movie, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back but she’s pretty much disappeared in the new millennium and it’s a damn shame. Those long legs and that gorgeous smile are probably still just as enchanting.

We all remember her from her role opposite Bill Murray in Groundhog Day, but she also had major roles in Sex, Lies and Videotape, and Four Weddings and a Funeral. She is a brunette beauty for the ages with the possibly the best little smirk in Hollywood.

Lord have mercy this babe couldn’t have been on the screen enough. From Chasing Amy to Big Daddy and Biodome her roles were as diverse as they were memorable. There was something about those pouty lips and sultry voice men just couldn’t get enough of.

God. In . Heaven. This bad ass babe was my fetish heaven before I even knew what a fetish was. She was so hot in Wayne’s World I though my VCR (and hand) would catch on fire when I watched it. She parlayed that role into other good flicks like Rising Sun, True Lies and Jury Duty, but she never again seemed to capture the essence of hotness or the attention of Hollywood again.
