A basket full of eggs. If you put the eggs in boxes of 3 there is 1 egg left behind. If you put them on groups of 4 there is 1 egg left behind. In groups of 5 or 6 there is also 1 egg left behind. If you put them in boxes of 7 eggs they will fill them all perfectly.

QUESTION> How many eggs do we have in the basket?

And old man and his apprentice are watching the sunset when exactly 100 seagulls pass flying. They hunt one and the next day there are 99... they hunt another one.

The old man asks the young boy: "After we've hunted them all down, how many seagulls did we watch flying?

You are walking down a road and come to a fork. One path leads to certain death; the other leads to eternal happiness. You don't know which is which. In the middle of the fork, you come across two brothers who know which road is which. One brother always tells the truth and the other always lies. You can only ask them one question. How would you determine which road to take?

Answer: Ask each brother, "If you were your brother, which road would you say leads to eternal happiness?"

Explanation: Let's say the path on the right leads to eternal happiness. After you ask your question, both brothers will tell you the exact same thing: "He would say the left path leads to eternal happiness."

As Reddit user OnscreenForecaster explained, "In either case ... you would pick the opposite of what they both say because one is telling the truth about it being a lie, and one is lying about it being the truth."
