There’s no official count of the steps on the side of this sacred Taoist mountain, but perhaps it’s because people are too terrified to keep count.

After you finish making your way up the stairs, then you’ve got a hellish, three-plank-wide walkway to traverse to get to one of the most remote teahouses in the world.

Hope it’s worth it.
