At the dawn of social networks and the popularity of selfies, the “duck face” became a trend for average people to seem attractive and alluring. Of course, it’s taken on many forms but eventually grew so popular that the internet pushed back, making fun of the trend and turning it on its head, transforming it into a symbol of narcissism.
