The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
Young FBI agent Clarice Starling is tasked to gain insight into the twisted mind of a killer by talking to Hannibal Lecter, a renowned psychiatrist who turned into an infamous psychopathic serial killer. Lecter agrees to help Starling only if she feeds his curiosity with details of her own complicated life. This twisted relationship forces Starling to confront her psychological demons and to question her own strength.
