Zac Efron didn't actually sing in the first High School Musical movie – most of the singing voice was provided by Drew Seeley.

Apparently Zac Efron wasn't even told why his singing voice was cut in the first film, and he had to fight to get it used in the second movie.

Remember Jessie from The Parent Trap? Yeah, the character's name was actually "Chessy."

Rachel McAdams' hair in Mean Girls wasn't actually dyed – it was a wig.

In reality, when Pocahontas and John Smith first met, Smith was 28 years old and Pocahontas was about 10.

In his biography, Smith's impression of Pocahontas was that she was "a child of 10 years old." He wrote that in 1608 but was born in 1580.

Julia Roberts' head was superimposed onto her body double's body for the Pretty Woman movie poster.

Roberts also used the same body double, Shelley Michelle, to film several closeup scenes in the film.

Haylie Duff, Hilary Duff's sister, was actually the one who provided the singing voice for Isabella in The Lizzie McGuire Movie.

In A League of Their Own, the older version of Dottie was ~not~ actually played by Geena Davis.

Instead of using makeup or special effects to make Geena Davis look like an elderly woman, they simply hired a separate actress (Lynn Cartwright) and dubbed her voice.

Despite playing a young teen in The Karate Kid, baby-face Ralph Macchio was actually 22 when he filmed the movie.

The country of Genovia from The Princess Diaries series isn't actually a country at all – they made it up.

FYI: Jennifer Lopez's singing voice didn't even make it into the movie Selena.

Lopez had to sing for her audition, but the movie used Selena's actual singing voice for the songs.

And Rebecca Ferguson didn't actually sing as Jenny Lind in The Greatest Showman.

Instead, singer Loren Allred provided her vocals for the film.

Also, just a heads up that Donny Osmond sang the vocals for Li Shang in Mulan.

Even though Titanic was based on a true story and real passengers, James Cameron completely made up the characters of Jack and Rose.

And even though it looks like those final scenes were filmed in the ocean, they were actually shot in a pool.

Michael J. Fox played multiple characters in Back to the Future Part II, including his own daughter, Marlene McFly.

Speaking of multiples, it took 48 different piglets to play the title pig in Babe.

Wendy Makkena, aka Sister Mary Robert from Sister Act 2, lip synced alllllll of the singing throughout the movie.

You remember Zachary Binx from Hocus Pocus, right? Wrong. His name was actually "Thackery."

And just so you know, Thackery was played by two different people: Sean Murray was the real-life actor, and Jason Marsden voiced the cat.

All of the raptor noises from Jurassic Park are actually the sounds of mating tortoises.

Forrest Gump wasn't actually based on a true story, despite the movie's depiction of very real events.

And that means he wasn't actually the owner of Bubba Gump Shrimp. In fact, the restaurant chain didn't even exist until ~after~ the movie was released.

Paramount Pictures basically wanted to hone in on the movie's success, so they created the idea for a themed restaurant. The first Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. was opened in 1996, two years after Forrest Gump was released.

And the most cool trick of all was that all of the babies from Rugrats in Paris: The Movie were voiced by women.

Elizabeth Daily voiced Tommy Pickles

Kath Soucie voiced Phil and Lil DeVille

Cheryl Chase voiced Angelica Pickles

Christine Cavanaugh voiced Chuckie Finster
