#17 or just put in one battery as normal, will work just as good. obviously only for devices where the batteries are connected in parallel, not series. who comes even up with these?
Put boiling water in a glass to heat it up. Then dump out the water and put the glass over your butter. In just a few minutes it will be soft, not melted.
