#11 Fake. They are known to be able to live to 500 - 600 years. That isn't even the most interesting things about them, they are an amazing animal, big as great whites, and when mature, all blind.

How about pigeons? I remember seeing this grey pigeon when I was a kid. I'm now 76 and I saw it again just last week.

Lamellibrachia tube worms, up to 250 years old
The tubeworm species found deep in the Gulf of Mexico is able to live up to 250 years. They can reach lengths of over 10 ft but they grow very slowly. They can also form a biogenic habitat by creating large aggregations of hundreds to thousands of individuals.
