Snivy (Japanese: ツタージャ Tsutaaja) is the Grass-type Starter Pokémon of the Unova region, introduced in Generation V. Snivy's classification is the Grass Snake Pokémon. Like all of the previous Grass-type Starter Pokémon, Snivy has the ability, Overgrow.
