"Why does everyone over the age of 40 put "..." after EVERYTHING"... Because, unfortunately, people under this age, seemly reckless and omniscient regarding to what their capable of "telling" (writing's a better word...), ain't obviously able to understand why they're not... ;)
We laugh at ripped jeans because we remember them being in style in the 80's and it's hilarious to us that you think it is new or unique. Our ringtones are loud because our phones aren't surgically attached to us and we actually put them down often. We leave voicemails so we can get across actual information in an efficient way. Our spoken language has much more bandwidth than typing out a text. If there is text on your shirt, isn’t the idea for people to read it?
Seems like it could easily go the other way, too. Why does everyone under 30 have glassy, dead eyed stares? Why does everyone under 30 need constant praise from others to avoid feeling worthless? Why does everyone under 30 have withdrawal symptoms if they have no phone in their hand? Why does everyone under 30 think they know anything about life when the hardest thing they've ever dealt with is high school math? Why does everyone under 30 need to be coddled in everything they do, or they'll collapse? Why does everyone under 30 need safe spaces to run to to protect their widdle fweelings?
