"...There is an enormous amount of educators..." Are kidding me? She's a teacher, and that's how she writes/speaks? I'm not a prescriptivist; but that grammar would get a person flunked in junior high school. In casual conversation, I wouldn't care. But she's making a case for what a dedicated teacher she is, and that's how poorly she speaks her own language? Maybe it's better she moves on. There are probably kids in her classes with better grammar. It wouldn't be the first time.

About the comments from the administrator . . . he went to college to become a teacher and when he became a teacher, he discovered he wasn't good at it and he found it very uncomfortable so he became an administrator. The people who are really good at teaching NEVER become administrators.

A lot of parents these days treat school as a "free from kid time"
When I was in high school during parent-teacher meetings we were sitting quiet and listening to what teacher had to say/suggest and it was instantly implemented in class and home.
I was twice in my brothers school because neither our dad or mom could go and the picture I saw terrified me. Teacher was sitting with head down trying to answer barrage of stupid questions or attacks coming from parents who think their child is some kind of special flower
Today's kids are f@#$$%d up because their parents are even more f@#$$%d up

classic blame the parents mentality...I'm not saying she's wrong, but i will say how long have you been teaching? 2 or 3 years? just a millennial who couldn't hack it.
