Ford is not a good example of a good American business man. He was actually a very cruel taskmaster. After announcing his $5/day huge pay rate people flocked to Ford in droves. They often worked in horrible conditions and were often fired if they went to the bathroom and didn't produce any waste. Many just went in their pants out of fear. Ford also had extensive business dealings with the Nazis and was a personal idol of Hitler himself. The more you learn about Ford, the worse it gets. Plus his cars are sh*te.

Since this list includes "land holdings" it should have Genghis Khan. He had 12 million square miles now worth trillions.

Gaddafi was assassinated by USA because he wanted to create currency backed up with gold and start doing oil transactions with it. If he did succeed USA would start spiraling down into recession because they would have nowhere to launder freshly printed dollars.

Pretty sure neither of us commenting here could ever compare to what either of these people accomplished then, and now. This is a post about looks, not accomplishments. I'm sure all of us fail either way... I mean, were I gorgeous and a billionaire? I would be too busy typing right now. Instead I'm fat n' happy looking at pictures on the internet while waiting for my laundry to dry.

William I the Conqueror, $209–229 billion

According to different estimations, William I the Conqueror had about $209–229 billion. William I the Conqueror was the first King of England after the Norman invasion in 1066. William’s reign had huge consequences for the country: he set up the united English Kingdom, he created the army and the fleet, he made the so-called Domesday Book, and he started to build the stone fortresses, the first one of which was a tower that was built in 1078.
