With all due respect, there's not a lot of wisdom on those boards is there? Those are all things my 10 year old could've come up with.

At that age, don't you think you will be acting like a 10year old. This are people that have seen alot in life. Take the advice or leave it.

This is almost entirely horrible advice, what happened to old people and wisdom??

Baby boomers and pre-war generation! They just went through life in a hope and prosperous enviroment. Didn't become smarter but this are authentic good advices for the youngest.

It's great advice. In response to the negative comments; I don't believe that the depths of anyone's wisdom can be expressed in one sentence. But it is quite the opposite one sentence can reveal someone lacking the ability to form realstic expectations from others.
