#1 Since seeing this picture a few months ago here, I've done this egg ring for sliced egg on buffet tables near the salads. They've actually been a huge time saver. People have put them on their salads, burgers, or just cut a good hunk and ate it with salt, pepper, and hot sauce. I love it! 
This "gourmet" (their words, not mine) hot dog connoisseur.
