#3. You hit someone from behind, the law says it's your fault. The car changed lanes at the speed of slow congested traffic.

Visit, agreed. I drive trucks, cars, and on down-time, a motorcycle. Whilst all drivers make mistakes and can be jerks? It all comes down to being a defensive driver no matter what vehicle any of us drives. Sadly, most of us drive offensively, for whatever reasons. I admit, I'm guilty of this at times. But the older I've become, I've learned more self-control. It's an exercise I wish I'd have listened to from others when I was young. Don't know why you've been down-arrowed.
