Natalie Portman, Black Swan
Natalie Portman trained for 8 hours a day, 6 days a week, for over a year with former New York City ballet dancer Mary Helen Bowers. She wanted to be well-prepared for her role in the movie Black Swan, so she also reinforced her training regime with cross-training, swimming, and endurance exercises. She also lost 20 pounds for the role, eating only carrots and almonds for months.
