this was how my Dad's household was run when I was a kid. Never any issues. We all grew up to be model citizens. Not like today's youth where they body slam an elderly lady at Popeye's

Snopes proved this "article" has been circulating the internet for years, and is 100% fake. Nice to dream, though.

I'm very happy to say regardless of any Snopes or fakery claims, these are (for the most part) things I happily do for my husband. 27 years together. We both work hard together. It's not demeaning to make your spouse or partner happy and want to do things for them as you work together. dirol

House husband here. I try to do as many of these things for my wife as I know that she's had a more tiring day than me. Even if the article isn't true, it doesn't matter because I take pride in keeping the house and garden in order. Unfortunately too many women have to work nowadays to pay the bills but I'm sure many women would rather go back to this life if they had a choice.

I agree. some of these things are just nice ways of keeping a welcoming home. If I can provide that for someone I gladly will, if I can be greeted by that I'll be thankful. Kind of sad that most never see such things unless they can afford better hotels and even then it's pretty phony feeling to be greeted by artificial and "rented" comforts.

5.) Clear away the clutter. Make one last trip through the main part of the house just before your husband arrives. Gather up schoolbooks, toys, paper, etc. and then run a dust cloth over the tables.
