The boomers rebelled against the ruling generation in 1968. They targeted the Vietnam war and nuclear weapons. (make peace not war). The millennials have finally found their cause and is battling climate change. Gen x could have been fighters for democracy and unity after the fall of the Berlin wall in 1989, but no. Gen x never found anything to fight for.
The Millennials are going along with this hoping to get a participation trophy. The Boomers do it because they can't get over the fact that there are people who don't like the Beatles.
I cannot even imagine hating another person because of his or her age. (...or skin color or nationality or religion or socioeconomic standing or sexual orientation.) Unfortunately for me, that really seems to create a lot of suspicion and mistrust in people who don't know me.
