I was in 7th grade when Milli Vanilli came out and can still remember when they got busted. Luckily I was poor so all I'd bought was one of their singles. Those tapes were so cheap they didn't come in plastic cases they came in cardboard sleeves. These days many entertainers get caught doing this at concerts all the time yet their fans still love them. Expectations have lowered over the years.
