I saw a photo of this fat woman leaning up against / sitting her fat a$$ on the fruit AND I personally saw an old man hacking/coughing directly on the produce at a grocery store - so I’m totally fine with stores sealing up fruit and vegetables. You never know what idiots have tainted the produce before you.

Raccoon,
yeah, and also sealing banana, can of coke, coconut or fire log :D what a logical thing to do. also selling sliced pieces of fruit or vegie ( #15 wtf) or single packed bread slices is really dumb. from these 21 pictures are (at least) 14 of them unnecessary packed. but i get your point.

Of course, we can be certain that all of this packaging material winds up in the appropriate receptacle and not as windblown trash. I also came to comment specifically on #15, but salamoon beat me to it. Truly, WTF. Anybody who has ever cooked with peppers knows that once you cut into them you either cook with them or freeze them, because if you do neither they'll be slimy with mold in a day or two.
