I would say it depends in which city and tier you live. The examples here are maybe similar in all Tier 2 cities but not necessarily adapt to Tier 1. And Tier 3 would be much worse.

#25 O no! The dreaded MSG! It isn't bad for you. Never was and still isn't. Just more news propaganda to cause alarm.

#3 bars to prevent children from falling out of windows is quite understandable, not inexplicable..

What a fascinating country! Although, I have to admit some of these made me uncomfortable - the size of the art class, and the escalator to hell. 36

A country of unregulated scammers. No morals, no ethics no moral compass. They rip off everything from Nike to Disney on a massive scale and the Government turns a blind eye. They eat anything with a pulse even if the motherfukkas as cute as can be.

All I can add is what a shame it would be to own a grand place like that in old China with trees probably hundred years old with cool architecture and have it all ruined by a lighted monorail shining on your house at night. Must sound great as it goes by. What a pity.

It’s amazing how the Chinese deal with the overpopulation. I wouldn’t be able to handle it.

Chinese people prefer squat toilets.

There’s a common opinion that if you empty your bowel sitting, it can harm the digestive process. So it’s better to do it in a squatting position.
