I worked in high-end flower farming for years. I worked with some of the most influential botanists of the 20th century, men who changed the history of horticulture forever, eg writing the earliest literature on the cloning of orchids, men who studied plants in their habitats and re-wrote the literature on the propagation of some of the most common flowers we have today, etc. These men were as much scientists as they were horticulturists and farmers.
I am here to tell you in the most emphatic terms possible that this article is as valid as anti-vax theories. No house plant - or houseful of plants - could to the things this article claims they can do. You could literally load your house floor to ceiling in every room, and it wouldn't do what this claims they will do.
@Izismile, I know you think this is harmless, but you owe it to your readers to stop giving them these blatant untruths. This kind of garbage is promoted by New Age Scammers who have something to sell. Please stop doing their bidding for them.
Occasion, OMG You're literally the same guy who professes to be the logger and expert on trees; the dietitian and professional nutritionist; and the astrophysicist!! You're delusional.
Houseplants are nice, and may have some benefits, but unless you really really love jasmine, you would never want to grow it indoors. I bought a vine one year without experience (I love the smell and flavor in tea) so I thought by the front door would be nice. It's scent was so strong we had to move it to the edge of the house. I was sick of Jasmine for months after that. Aack!
Jasmine has a great effect on our mental health due to a chemical that relieves anxiety, treats mood swings, improves sleep quality, and, in larger quantities, raises immunity and even can increase libido.
