We have lots of fires in California, within 2 years you'd never even know that there was a fire. Also, the Pine Tree's Cones ONLY Pop and scatter the seeds during a fire..without a Fire, Pine Trees would never reproduce.

Scarlett Johansson, Well, animals feed on pine nuts and help scatter the seeds in their dung so there's that too.

Scarlett is kinda right, but their post is also a bit misleading. Some, but not all pine trees need fire to make their cones "pop".
