Bride: considering that my S.O. can (and does) finish a pack of Chips Ahoy all by herself in about 30 minutes I still think that the 30k figure is doable. She has the kind of metabolism most of us would pay to get, and has to eat at least twice as much as I do just to keep from losing weight. She's not the only person like this, either.
#6 is wrong. You can't use an airplane to find moose for hunting (even if you're not the hunter), but it's not illegal for a wildlife photographer to take pictures of them from the sky, nor for scientists to track them from the sky.
