It's exactly like the notion that spitting in the ocean will make it deeper. Yes, it's true; but that's how little it would matter.
No amount of greenery will make an appreciable difference in the quality of the air you breathe. You could fill a greenhouse floor to ceiling with plants, and it still wouldn't make any significant difference.
On the other hand, there are more people alive who believe the earth is flat than at any time in history, so I'm not expecting to be heard.
