This guy shared on Twitter one Danish supermarket’s idea for stopping people from hoarding hand sanitizer
“Rotunden” supermarket in Denmark consider themselves to be Denmark’s most beautiful supermarket and describe themselves as an exclusive shopping environment with respect for people’s busy everyday life. Apparently, their values are also humane enough to care not only about selling as much as possible but also to getting the product to as many people in need as possible.
If a store was to post a thing like
1 bottle of hand sanitizer is $1.99 and second would be $29.99 or more,
They'd still buy it. Americans are greedy and freak out of things.
For example,
I went to the store the other day and asked a greeter if I could use a single wipe to wipe down my cart/buggy (she had a bottle of wipes)
She said they are not for sale, I said "ma'am, I don't want to buy them, I simply would like a single wipe" she went off one like a wolverine and held the bottle to her chest and said louder "they aren't for sale"
I told her "ma'am, I take it you don't like to help the human race, have a good day"
A lady who was behind me gave me a wipe and said here you go, she then gave the lady who refused to give me a wipe the eyes of death. If we can't help each other out in times of need, then we as the human race are f@#ked in more ways than one.
Please be safe out there everyone.
What I want to know is where is EVERYBODY getting the money to stock up for months? I certainly can’t afford it and I make way above the median income. No way I’m racking up credit cards for this.
