#3 Can't complain too much about being on Maui, but... my trip to Haleakala: same fog; massive crippling headache from the drive up; bee sting on my ear, under my helmet (biking down); bee sting reaction spread to both ears and throat over the next couple of *weeks*. ...But the 500-year storm which preceded it, and which took out roads, closed schools, and left us housebound in 100+-degree heat and humidity most of the first half was worse (Autumn '02). However... when the storm passed, it was the most beautiful place I've ever seen, and I've been to some of the most beautiful places in the world. So I got over it.

#17 No you didn't. Big Ben is a bell. That there is Elizabeth Tower undergoing restoration.

most of these are people visiting way to early in the morning before the fog dissipated.
120 Mile Solo Hike. Asked An Elderly Passerby To Take A Photo For Me
I checked it right away but he struggled enough with the touch screen that I didn't ask him to take another. I think I was walking toward him to help him with the camera and CLICK. Too late. He was such a nice old man as well. He put so much effort in to trying to work that touch screen. Bless.
