#2 As ridiculous as it really is, it's due to the legalese in the liability policy of insurance that dictate what they will cover for a business. So even though that manager came off as an a$$hole to the dude who's bald? They both have to follow the rule from corporate office. If anything happens, both of them and everyone else in the restaurant are protected. Good on the manager for sticking to the program, bad on the dude for not having enough experience in business to understand the reasons. Stupid? Yeah, but necessary for everyone overall.
