Solipsism is certainly one theory dealing with the the problem of other minds. Though in this kid's case, I would suggest it's more in line with philosophical zombie theory than solipsism.
8 is just basically pure narcissistic thinking. For the few that do outgrow it they say it is more prevalent in the younger group as is seen in the "confidence of youth." A few do outgrow this or altogether avoid this way of thinking though.
Very interesting post. As a child I believed that on a specific date that I would go to sleep and wake JP in another world. I firmly believed this would happen until the date past and I was awoke, still in this world.
