Both parties always know when the phone call is over and just hang up. I tried it a couple of times, but it feels just so weird and unfinished that I had to call back to say goodbye. JC-LOL

When people have long pauses after being asked a question, and everyone waits patiently, not thinking it's strange. Most of us would make a gesture like "come on".

Dating couple have an argument, don’t speak for a few days. One of them pays the other a visit (to patch things up). Partner answers door but doesn’t open it all the way. That’s when another person appears behind them (usually wearing only a towel): “Hey, you’re out of conditioner…....ohhhhh…..”
Stop doing that scene.

Person leaves home in the morning….returns in the evening…..and every light is on.

Cheating husband calls wife to inform her he’ll be late. Mistress teases/tickles him while he’s on phone with his wife.
Stop doing that scene.

After hours of, beatings, shootings, etc. (Die Hard), hero and wife/girlfriend simply smile, embrace…….and everything is fine. No pain. No bruising. You’ve just been through an incredibly dangerous, life-threatening situation………and everything’s fine.

Stranded on an island full of dinosaurs……and you’re talking loudly….yelling at each other.

Being chased by the chainsaw-dude. Instead of hiding behind a bush (or whatever) and being real quiet, you choose to run through an open field while screaming. May as well scream “I’M OVER HEEEERE!!!!!

Good guy foot-chases bad guy. Bad guy gets a good lead, but stops and pauses while peering around corner. Good guy catches-up….looks around…..spots bad-guy peering…..and the chase resumes.

Guy finds a satchel full of drug-money. My 1st thought would be “WOW!!! I wonder how much is in here…”
But not our guy. Cuz’ if he counted it he’d find the tracking device and there’d be no movie.

There's two that I am tired of. The stupid man- everything is his fault, he might be the hero or a minor good guy but his relationship is effed up and it's his fault so he's gotta find redemption through his act. Also very extremely tired of the wise child(ren). Seriously no kid I've ever known talks to an adult like an adult with adult widsom. It's irritating when the leading character takes his best advice from a kid. Ugh.
