Asia is a very group oriented culture whereas Westerners prefer individuality they prefer collectivism and taking care of family is huge. They have some of the strangest social phobias I have ever heard of, but are generally very mannerly people. I respect Japanese people. They treat their country with respect and are very clean. They are also very strange in their habits and vices.

They are generally very mannerly people, but or because the punishments for losing your face are severe. They also seem to have a cruel side I cannot fathom, like by frying live fish or squid and finding it funny if the squid is trying to escape. Also it is common to prostitute one´s teenage daughters, in large parts of thailand - and if you say something against it - you´re the bad guy.
