#4 No, it is not. A solution is mixture composed of two or more substances. Alcohol is a single molecule. Vodka, for e.g., is a solution of water and alcohol.

Alcohol can mean for example a beverage and not only etanol, metanol etc. When we have in thought alcohol as beverage then it is a solution.
