Here now are the updated 2020 rankings when it comes to which countries drink the most beer per capita (in liters.)

With a population of 2,728,400, the people of Lithuania are consuming beer at a rate of 88.7 L per capita.

With a population of 1,326,598, the people of Estonia are consuming beer at a rate of 89.5 L per capita.

I’m not going to lie, I didn’t know there existed a country named Seychelles, but with a population of 98,284, Seychelles drinks beer at a rate of 90 L per capita.

Romania has a population of 19,258,355 people, and together they consume a stunning 94.1 L of beer per capita.

Did anyone not see this coming? With a population of 4,929,470, the nation of Ireland proudly consumes 98.2 L of beer per capita.

Poland has a population of 37,855,053 and consumes 100.8 L of beer per capita.

Germany is home to 83,746,331 people, and the country as a whole consumes 104.2 L of beer per capita.

Austria has a population of 8,998,208 people. All in all, they drink 106 L of beer per capita.

Namibia has a population of 2,532,967 people. Together they consume 108 L of beer per capita. That’s good for second-most on earth.

Alright, number one, who’s it going to be….

With a population of 10,706,146 people, Czech Republic beats #2 Namibia by a LARGE margin, consuming 143.3 L of beer per litre. UNREAL.

The Seychelle islands are off the west coast of Africa out in the Indian ocean. Never been there but the pictures look nice.

143 l of beer is 286 of 0.5 l bottles. I'ts not that much, one beer daily for 286 days, or 2 beers daily for 1/3 of a year. But what do I know. I'm Polish.
