No. I had not noticed the dates. I doubt that anyone besides the most hardcore rabid fans know those dates...

any decal on a Lego set has something to do with the designer: initials or birthdates
Have you noticed that the date on the Fire Brigade facade corresponds to the founding of LEGO, and the date on the Town Hall facade corresponds to the birth of LEGO founder Ole Kirk Christiansen?
