Epsey,black powder pistol set is quite a valuable gift indeed.

Actually, sorry to tell you but those pistols are pretty common and to my eye look like they were made out of kits you can buy. Muzzle loaders (black powder) are some fine weapons to learn on, but it takes extra precaution and skill not to blow your self up. Definitely not plug n play.
