Ostensibly a film for children, the movie was released during the summer to make the most of kids being off school, but like many classics of the genre, it has gone on to become a seasonal favourite around Halloween time!

One of my favorite classic musical films is Paint Your Wagon with Lee Marvin and a young Clint Eastwood. I love the film, but it was a huge flop when it came out.
