Despite the inferior graphics of the day, I miss the old games. Once you bought the game, you had all you need and it never required more in game purchases and you didn't have to download anything. I can remember having to ask my parents for the code to turn on "blood" in the original Mortal Kombat. They thought it was a stupid requirement too.
