If I tell my boys that they cannot have a snack, they will not steal it. It is called parenting.

A vending machine? Why not putting land mines too? Land mines are good to teach your kids that stealing is not good!

So much easier than teaching right and wrong, later in life you can put the car keys in there and increase the price. Added bonus with vending machine, no need to talk to your kids.
