The TL;DR makes you sound like a real douche. From reading the whole story I think it should rather say something like "Boss lied about giving me a raise, I took over his job by becoming better at it than him.

idk, contractor was probably a dbag, but OP looks very naive to me..... also lot of cr#p, non topic in the story. dont read that.
