ZombieDarwin,

You shouldn't be. Jefferson slept with quite a few of his slaves.

Thias,
Only an unsubstantiated rumor, and never established. As a matter of fact (you can look it up) the "legend" of Thomas Jefferson fathering children with a slave has been the topic of great debate for quite some time.

ZombieDarwin,
DNA doesn't lie and neither does the browline and face shape. I know for some people it's distasteful to know that white politicians have black descendants. But, Jefferson had a taste for his slaves and fathered A LOT of mixed race children. You'll just have to accept it.

I'm thinking all these people would be great to meet with! But surely there is a closer descendant of the Duke of Wellington? Like, say, the current Duke of Wellington, (aka Prince of Waterloo, Duke of Ciudad Rodrigo, Duke of Victoria, Marquess of Wellington, Marquess of Douro, Marquis of Torres Vedras,
Count of Vimeiro, Earl of Mornington, Viscount Wellesley, Viscount Wellington, Baron Douro, Baron of Mornington.
