Judging by these comparisons... the only thing that changed is color photography. Great job, op.

Confirmation that the world was so much more magnificent in the 19th century. Old Europe was still very much alive, before it got bombed to death in the world wars.

Colie, I lived in Germany in the 70's, in a medieval city in Lower Saxony. The jewel of the city centre had literally been bombed flat. I saw the photos of the damage. The speed and accuracy of the reconstruction was phenomenal. It is a UN world heritage site.
