Wilhelmina, back in the late 70's early 80's i had to drive about 3 hours through a rural area to an appointment, about halfway through thee ride i desperately needed a cup of coffee and i stopped at a 7/11/gas station because they had coffee and i needed gas, there was no other business around because i was out in the middle of nowhere..
i don't knew what year the coffee was made but i could smell how burnt it was from sitting on the heater as i got closer.
i was desperate so i made myself a cup, it didn't matter how much milk i put in that color didn't lighten up beyond a slightly lighter black that it started at and i kept pouring some out and adding more milk.
i left with it and it was the worse cup of coffee i had ever had . if i think about it i can still taste it to this day
