Charlie, I don't know how it started, but the term 'Karen' doesn't actually refer to people named Karen. Instead it refers to the woman who has to have her way, no matter what and will escalate to a manager if she doesn't get her way. And if that doesn't work, will keep going up the ladder until a person is found who will make the others fall in line, or gets them terminated.
The first time I heard it, it was referring to a woman who decided (when there were mask shortages), that her kid should have the mask someone else was wearing. Even tried to forcibly take it off the person... and got tazed for it by the other person. But this term probably predates that.
I'm amazed how over-the-top racist this Karen meme is. Has been from the start.
Hey Izi, start a Yolanda or a DeWayne thread. You know you can. We can see it already.
Barberyit's not a race there for it can't be called racist, people are quick throw the word around without knowing it's meaning. Having a Karen meme at worse is being rude or disrespectful. Or just being an @$$hole, but not racist.

Karen, you might want to talk to the manager. They spelled your name S-i-m-o-n.
Have to see the manager,
Sweet death can't save you.

It is a race of being the @$$hole in the room
Like a race who finishes first or a race who is the biggest idiot/Karen.
Read Barberys response in that context. He's playing with words ;)
Explaining because I believe English is not your first language. Like me.
