#4 They also didn't teach us that Hawaii didn't WANT to be annexed...they had a perfectly functional monarchy going and were quite happy. It was a political move that was forced on them by the US. Yet another indigenous culture railroaded by "manifest destiny".

Whats the issue with getting a passport? In the actual free part of the world you go to your city administration, apply for one, hand over your picture and a small fee and four to six weeks later you can pick it up.

Exactly. And you don't need to register to vote, you just get a letter with an invitation

#2 is lucky that they didn't just keep her resignation. Because being American is not a good enough excuse to not know that you don't need a passport in your own country.
