#8 I know some feel differently, but I can't stand seeing adopted children photographed like they're pets that were rescued. Give these children some dignity and just adopt them without looking for internet confirmation that you're a good person for fanfare and likes.

How about the Youtubers who film themselves feeding the homeless? Then they turn around and bask in the glow of social media affirmation from their followers who throw money at them on Patreon. Social media affirmation is the cancer of our society for what it inspires in the name of virtue.
