Why is someone holding the dangerous pitohui? Of all the wild bird pics, I almost never see a wild bird being held... Yet here we are... I hope they washed their hands.

#7 Waxwing's appear on my country's northern Isles occasionally - particularly when it's going to be a sh#tty long and very cold winter. People feed them on apples. Waxwings love apples. Mad for apples.

It’s the second most widespread tropical disease in the world. In 2018, for example, 229 million people were affected by it. You can get it when swimming in freshwater.
