What are the odds a boiler would wash up on a beach called "boiler beach"? Uncanny.
"Marble-sized gelatanous balls scattered on my fire escape"
A: "They are water beads. Probably non-toxic since they are a kid toy. They start teeny tiny and grow a gajillion times as they soak up water."
