I can't count anymore how much I saw the first ones, when it's on TV. I still watch it, only for the dinosaurs

#5 is partially incorrect: Joe Mazzello, who played Timmy, explained it in a video (Jurassic Park: Live Q&A Watch-Along w/ Actor Joseph Mazzello on youtube): it was supposed to break, but not go down as far or with such force.

To create the shot they fed a guitar string through the car, down to the ground, and then had a guy lay under the car and pluck the guitar string
